Our modern two
storey care facility is government approved and specifically designed
to offer a homey atmosphere in a safe, contemporary setting.
Visitor parking
is directly behind the building or on-street parking.
Each wing has
three unique visiting areas that overlook the front and back streets.
The second floor features a large recreation room with additional
lounges on both levels.
Off the main
lobby, a cosy dining room adds a relaxing atmosphere to the daily
meal service. A second larger dining room awaits those on the second
level. Visitors are welcome to share afternoon tea time with their
relatives.
The private,
comfortable bedsitting rooms can be furnished, however, residents
are encouraged to provide their own belongings to give a familiar,
homey feeling.
Suites have two nurse call stations, cable TV (included) and telephone
service.

The Registered
Nurse and certified staff are in charge of the residents personal
care, comfort and supervision. Medication is administered, personal
hygiene and grooming are a part of the overall nursing services.
Hairstyling
and foot care service is available weekly.
Transportation
and companion services to medical appointments can be arranged.
The Administration
staff and Director of Nursing maintain individual residents
records, arrange medical appointments, and Lab and X-ray home visits.
The Admissions/Discharges and other reports to government agencies
are prepared regularly. The staff respond to various concerns of
the residents and their next of kin. The overall harmony in the
home is a priority of the management and staff.
The kitchen/dining
room staff cater to the residents with nutritious and appealing
home-cooked meals. Also served daily are the afternoon beverages
and baking, as well as an evening snack before retiring. Special
diets (diabetic, soft-foods, etc..) are accommodated.
Linens and bedding
are provided with laundry staff attending to residents personal
laundry and dry cleaning. Housekeeping and maintenance staff maintain
the facility throughout.
The Activity
Director organizes various activities in the multi-purpose room
and about the home, including group outings. Entertainers perform
on many occasions throughout the year.
